She blends fitness, fun, and education in every workout.  You will not only leave feeling stronger but empowered to continue your workouts at home. She emphasizes the importance of correct form and ensures each training is a new challenge.  

HIIT training is nice change from conventional cardio exercises. HIIT is a dynamic, time-efficient approach characterized by alternating bouts of intense exertion and brief recovery periods. This not only elevates the heart rate swiftly but also elicits an ‘afterburn’ effect, known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), wherein the body continues to burn calories at an accelerated rate post-workout.

HIIT is great for those that want to lose weight but may not have hours to spend at the gym. There are tons of exercises that can be infused into HIIT routines, from sprints and burpees to jump squats and mountain climbers, imparts a sense of variety that keeps the workouts stimulating and engaging.

Weight training, often referred to as strength training or resistance training, has been known for its ability to foster muscular development, enhance bone density, and amplify overall strength.

Weight training progressively challenges the body’s muscles, and revolves around the use of external resistance. Jennifer uses what you have available and provides affordable alternatives to weights, bands, and machines.

Jennifer keeps everything accessible, challenging, and fun! You won’t get stuck in any exercise routine. JHoop has a private studio where you have access to all of her equipment. Her creativity can create a workout for any mood, barrier, and space. 

Resistance bands and alternative training

Mentioned above, resistance bands are a great way to build muscle and core strength with minimal equipment. These unassuming bands, available in varying degrees of resistance, offer an accessible approach to strength training through consistent tension.

The adaptability of resistance bands makes them a great portable gym. Allowing you to engage in comprehensive workouts regardless of where you are. Jennifer works with what you have available and equipment you can afford.  Her private studio space has a variety of weights and equipment for those that prefer to train in person.

Stretching & Flexibility Training

Flexibility training, commonly known as stretching, often takes a back seat in fitness routines compared to exercises like cardio and strength training. However, underestimating the power of flexibility training is a mistake.

Stretching isn’t just about touching your toes; it’s a practice that yields an array of  benefits for your body and overall well-being

Flexibility training isn’t just about the physical. It also offers significant benefits for your mental health and well-being. Engaging in it can have a calming and meditative effect on your mind.

As you focus on your breath and the gentle, deliberate movements of stretching, you can reduce stress and anxiety levels. Jennifer uses various stretching techniques like dynamic movement and static stretching in her workouts. Although not a certified yoga instructor Jennifer utilizes yoga flow and poses into her trainings.
